Claim: Viral video shows actual footage of a cloud burst.

fact: The video is not real. It shows some inconsistencies, mentioning that the original video was uploaded to an Instagram page and AI was created. The page administrator also confirmed that it was created using RunwayML. Furthermore, the AI detection tool Hive flagged it as 99.6% AI generation. Therefore, the argument is error.

A thorough examination of the video will reveal some inconsistencies. For example, a person suddenly appears and disappears. Such glitches are common in AI-generated visuals (here and here), indicating that this video is likely to be created using AI rather than actual footage from CloudBurst.

To find the truth, we conducted a reverse image search for keyframes from virus videos. This led me to the same video on August 5th, 2025, where the Instagram page was named. 'kandha_odysseys_vines'. The video description mentioned that the clip was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and VFX.

We have contacted the administrator of our Instagram page for more details about the video. The Instagram page revealed that the video was created using an AI tool called runwayml.

I ran it using AI detection tools like Hive to see if the video was generated or deep. This showed a 99.6% chance of AI being generated. This ensures that the video does not display the actual cloud burst footage, but is artificially created.

In summary, cloudburst virus videos are generated rather than actual footage.
