Radware and Epic Cloud Company has signed a managed security service provider agreement to provide managed, AI-powered cloud application protection services.

Under this arrangement, Epic Cloud incorporates Radware's cloud application protection services into its managed services suite, in a move designed to enhance customer-based security.

Epic Cloud is a Taiwanese cloud service provider focused on enterprise applications, cloud reliability hosting and maintenance, information security management and control, and project software development. The company has sought to enhance protection for its cloud-based platform by partnering with established security vendors.

“We've got a lot of effort into making our products more accessible,” said Jay Jiang, Product Manager at Epic Cloud. “We chose Radware as our partner because of our reputation for industry-leading application security services and how we provide fully managed protection without technical construction or operational lift.”

Through partnerships, Epic Cloud customers can access comprehensive application security solutions through a single platform. Radware's cloud application protection services include web application firewall, bot detection and management, API protection, client-side protection, and application layer distributed denial of service (DDOS) protection.

With this agreement, Epic Cloud delivers these protections in a managed service format, targeting organizations that need robust, modern security without dedicating additional internal resources to infrastructure and technology development.

“Our MSSP model is designed to help partners quickly meet customer expectations for advanced AI-powered cyber defense technologies without making any infrastructure investments,” said Missy Huang, country manager at Radware, Taiwan. “As we face shrinking our security team and rapidly growing threats, we look forward to working with Epic Cloud to reduce security risks for our customers.”

Radware's service offering in Taiwan features a cloud security service center located in Taipei. The centre forms part of a wider international network with over 50 locations, collectively supporting mitigation capabilities of up to 15Tbps. Networks help organizations by optimizing application response times for local traffic and reducing attacks such as denial of service incidents, web application attacks, automated malicious bot traffic, and attacks targeting APIs.

Industry awareness of Radware's application and network security delivery comes from analysts such as Aite-Novarica Group, Forrester, Gartner, Kuppingercole, and QKS Group.

Epic Cloud's expertise spans areas such as cloud-driven digital conversion, consulting, and software development that support platforms including Google Cloud and AWS. The company is helping organizations deploy cloud technology with an emphasis on enhanced data analytics and machine learning capabilities.

Radware offers application security and delivery solutions worldwide for multi-cloud environments. Its service delivery focuses on employing AI-driven algorithms to provide real-time protection against a variety of web, applications, DDO, API abuse and bot attacks, helping customers address evolving cybersecurity issues while managing business costs.
