Upon closer analysis of the viral clip, we noticed that the visible distortion of the woman's body and the movement of the tiger in multiple frames were strong signs of AI manipulation.

We then checked the footage with multiple AI detection tools and found it was also AI-generated content. For example, Sightengine flagged a video as likely (97%) to be AI-generated, and Hive Moderation concluded that the media had a 99.9% chance of containing AI-generated or deepfake content.

Similarly, WasItAI, another AI detection website, analyzed certain screenshots of the clip and concluded, “We are confident that this image, or significant portions of it, was created by an AI.”

Additionally, Hiya Deepfake Voice Detector marked the audio as “possible deepfake.” Resemble AI also called the audio fake, and five of Deepfake-o-meter's six detectors reported that the audio was likely generated by AI.

Further investigation revealed that the same video was uploaded to Facebook by a page named “Alpha Roar Wildlife.” The page claims to be a digital creator and explicitly states in its introduction that “AI is entertainment.” This page features several similar videos depicting unrealistic animal-human interactions.

Notably, News Checker previously debunked multiple viral videos showing animals lovingly interacting with humans, identifying them as part of a recurring trend of AI-generated wildlife content being passed off as authentic.

So we can see that the viral video of a woman bonding with a tiger was generated by AI.
