Video of what looks like a security camera (here, here, here, here) goes viral on social media, showing lion sniffing the man walking around the street at night, sleeping outside a shop near the road. The video is widely shared as a real incident. Find the truth behind it.
Claim: Viral video shows a lion sniffing a man walking around the street at night and sleeping outside the store, but no harm.
fact: The video is digitally created and is not an actual incident. AI detection tools have been confirmed to be artificially created by a Brazilian YouTube channel that specializes in animal content in which AI is generated. Therefore, the argument is error.
I carefully looked at the visuals to check the video. Some Indian letters appear on closed shop signs, but the text is hard to read and the language is unrecognizable.
After that, I performed a reverse image search. This led me to the same video on my Brazilian YouTube channel. The world of beasts (Here and here). This video was uploaded on June 6, 2025, with the Portuguese title translated to “.The lion finds a man sleeping on the streets of Gujarat!!! ” Furthermore, it clearly states that the video description is compiled or artificially created.
Additionally, we ran the videos through various AI detection tools (here and here). This indicates that there is a 91% chance that the video was generated by AI. This strongly suggests that the video does not depict actual incidents, but instead is a digitally created work.
In summary, the video of a lion walking around the street approaching a sleeping man is generated and not real.
