You will be asked to sign up with a Gmail account or create an account via email.

After signing in, you will be presented with a prompt page where you can enter the information required to create your cover letter. All prompts are carefully labeled, making the process very intuitive.

The only documents you need to have on hand are your resume and job postings for the new job you want to apply for. Then upload your resume and fill in the blanks to create your resume.

For the sake of clarity, I have applied for the Associate Editor position currently working at ZDNET. The result is a thoughtful, coherent, and thorough cover letter. It was something I felt comfortable submitting if I actually applied to join the team.

I’ve attached a picture of the final result, but I’ve blacked out any personal information I’d like/required only for employers to see.

You can then fine-tune your cover letter to your liking, both in terms of content and layout. For example, you can change details such as fonts, headings, graphics, and links.

Once completed, you can choose to copy and paste the letter or download it as a PDF. If you choose to export as PDF, you are ready to attach the same file to your application.

You also have the option to create another cover letter that will take you back to the original prompt page. However, this time you don’t have to fill in personal information such as your name and resume, which saves you time.
