A reverse image search for keyframes of a viral video featuring BJP MP Nishikant Dubey led us to the original video uploaded by Indo-Asian News Agency (IANS) on July 23, 2026 on the X handle. In the original video, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey does not make statements similar to those heard in the viral clip. Instead, he questions the alleged support of anti-India forces to the CJP movement. Some voices can be heard telling students that Jantar Mantar is not the place for them. Referring to the 1975 student movement, he says many students who took part in the agitation were unable to become doctors or engineers for two years.
We then analyzed the viral video using multiple AI voice detection tools, including Hive AI and Hiya. The results suggested that the audio in the clip was likely AI-generated/deepfake. This confirms that the viral video is fake and has been digitally altered, combining original footage with manipulated audio.

We repeated the same process to verify the video featuring Union Minister Piyush Goyal and found the original video uploaded by Press Trust of India (PTI) on its X handle on July 23, 2026. In the original video, Goyal was heard referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of fast-track courts to ensure swift action against those involved in the exam paper leak. At no point in the video does he make statements similar to those heard in the viral clip.
We then used multiple AI audio detection tools, including Hiya and DetectVideo AI, to analyze the viral video. Analysis showed that the audio was likely generated or manipulated by AI. This confirms that the viral video was digitally altered and combined with original visuals and fabricated audio.
We also found an X post by PIB Fact Check dated July 24, 2026 that debunks this viral video. The post clarified that the video was fake and AI-generated, confirmed that Union Minister Piyush Goyal had not made the alleged statements regarding the Delhi protests, and shared the original unedited PTI video.
