The town has new Meta Smart Glasses, an alternative to the popular Ray-Ban Meta Smart Sunglasses that have been used for the past few years. I've been testing Oakley Meta HSTN glasses for a week now, and while I'm still on the fence about design, there are some upgrades that make these glasses worthwhile.
It doubles the battery life and shoots videos at 3K resolution, as well as all the same meta AI features that have become my reliant on a lot. However, I came across a new feature I've never seen before.
This is a Restyle AI tool within the Meta AI app that you use to download and share recorded videos from Oakley Meta HSTN glasses. That new feature rethinks what those videos look like with the help of Meta AI. After trying it in some videos, I am sure they look like what I dream of in my dreams. This is why.
Meta AI Restyle Tools: Things you need to know

First of all, you can use only the Restyle AI tool, using videos captured with one of Meta's smart glasses. When you select a video, you can only ramp up to 10 seconds of clips. This is probably because clips are uploaded to the cloud for processing, which speeds up the process.
There are plenty of Restyle options available, but they are divided into different categories such as fashion, location, lighting, and style. Once the selection is made, it takes at most a maximum of minutes for the cloud to generate the final video. You will receive a notification when you are ready.
All Restyle videos appear to be reduced at 1,660 x 2,218 resolution at 24 frames per second, while the original Oakley Meta HSTN glasses are shot at 2,192 x 2,928 resolution at 30 fps. I converted them to animated GIFs to better illustrate them, but I know that in real video the quality and frame rate are much better.
Meta AI Restyle Tool: Cyberpunk

Although featured for reasons, Cyberpunk's Restyle option is one of my favorites. Because it blends bright neon colors related to style and completely transforms New York City's Times Square. I hope that more futuristic elements will be added to the video, but the piercing red and blues highlight the final version.
Meta AI Restyle Tool: Video Games

Another listed under the featured section I think is doing a good job is video game style. The pink and purple that Meta AI blends into the clip give it the feel of that video game, and the polygon-like sky complements it.
Meta AI Restyle Tool: Kitty

Well, this is a bit scary when you ask me. It's like every person slowly transforms into a human-sized Garfield.
This effect does not apply to everyone in the clip. This is due to the way in which only the most prominent faces are recognized. When I walk through the crosswalk, you can see how it directly changes people in front of my eyes, but do nothing to everyone else in the background.
Meta AI Restyle Tool: Porcelain

Using the same clip, I asked Meta AI to stop it with the porcelain effect under the style category. This looks better than the kitten style as more people in the scene transform into marble statues. It's neat, but I wouldn't say it's as impressive as some others.
Meta AI Restyle Tool: Anime

If you're a fan of Japanese animation, enjoy the anime Restyle option that applies the look and style of modern anime. Yes, it's on the cartoonish side, but I think it completely turns the scene into anime with bright colors
Meta AI Restyle Tool: Dystopian

What really striking about dystopian style is what seems the most realistic thing I've tried so far. The vast life of Times Square suddenly transformed into something you can see in movies like “The Hunger Games.” Smoky skyscrapers and war-torn streets are more convincing.
Meta AI Restyle Tool: Final Line

Looking at these clips, they definitely change the aesthetic as they were converted with Meta's AI Restyle tool. As I have clearly pointed out, some people do a much better job than others. I wish there was a more realistic look Restyle option.
Ultimately, you can get an attractive glimpse into the abilities of what AI editing tools can do. They're not meant to distort my perception of reality, but I think it's a fun tool for creators to push the boundaries of their creativity.
