fact
A keyword search for 'Sudha Murty, investment platform' did not turn up any credible reports or official announcements indicating that Rajya Sabha members support such financial apps.
A reverse image search for keyframes from the viral clip led us to a YouTube video by BeerBiceps dated February 26, 2021. The video features Sudha Murthy wearing the same outfit and background as in the viral video. However, she did not mention Quantum AI at any point in the original interview, confirming that the viral clip does not match what she actually said.

Careful analysis of the circulating videos revealed several visual inconsistencies that indicate AI manipulation. There's a mismatched lip sync, a blur around her lower jaw, and a moment when the wires of her earphones seem to unnaturally merge with her face. Also, the audio sounds unnaturally fast and has no natural pauses.
A segment of the clip evaluated by Deepware Scanner was flagged as suspicious. When we tested the audio through Deepfake-O-Meter, 3 out of 5 detectors rated it 100% likely to have been generated by AI. Multiple audio portions checked by Hiya Deepfake Voice Detector were labeled as “possible deepfake.” Similarly, Resemble AI also marked the audio as fake.

News Checker has previously debunked several AI-altered videos that falsely showed Sudha Murthy and her husband, Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, endorsing dubious investment schemes. The same can be seen here, here, and here.

Therefore, the viral clip in which Sudha Murthy is seen promoting 'quantum AI' is AI-manipulated.
