Snap has made AI chatbots available to all users, less than two months after introducing them as a premium feature for paying subscribers, the company said Wednesday.
Known as My AI, the bot is powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT and acts as a social companion and knowledge storehouse for Snap users.
Snap CEO Evan Spiegel said in a keynote at the Snap Partner Summit in Los Angeles on Wednesday, “We are using My AI to make conversational artificial intelligence useful and fun for our communities, while keeping them safe.” We are also working to establish guardrails to keep it safe.” .
