China's Tianjin is set to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025, which will feature prominent world leaders from over 20 countries.
During the expected summit, China is on the central stage in the field of innovation and technology. During the two-day summit, AI-powered assistant Xiao He will feature Asians who will provide answers and support international representatives and journalists in a variety of languages.
Humanoid robots, skilled in three languages, including English, Russian and Chinese, offer “multi-linguistic support, real-time information processing, and protocol-compliant interaction capabilities.”
While conducting the interview, Xiao said, “I'm Xiao, the cutting edge humanoid AI assistant designed for Tianjin's 2025 Shanghai Cooperative Organization Summit.”
Xiao spoke about her abilities and responsibilities during the summit. “My system integrates advanced emotional recognition algorithms, adaptive learning modules and a comprehensive knowledge database to promote seamless communication between international representatives, media representatives and summit organizers.”
“My operational parameters highlight cultural neutrality, de facto accuracy and continuous performance optimization during the summit,” she added.
Besides Xiao, SCO Summit will be unveiling another bot that will serve ice cream to volunteers at the media center on Saturday, August 30th.
The summit will be held from Sunday, August 31st to Monday, September 1st.
