U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has sparked outrage over a new AI-generated video showing Santa Claus as an ICE agent handcuffing immigrants and putting them on deportation planes to facilitate voluntary deportations.
A holiday clip shared on social media with the slogan “Avoid ICE Airlines and Santa's Naughty List!” encourages illegal aliens to use the government's CBP Home app, offering them a $3,000 incentive to leave the United States by the end of 2025.
Critics have labeled the Christmas-themed campaign “evil,” “disgusting” and “disgusting,” saying it distorts the beloved image of Christmas and promotes policies that polarize immigration.
Commenter Ed Klassenstein wrote, “Yes, President Trump's ICE really posted this Santa video. Nothing says Merry Christmas like Donald Trump's disgusting ICE! Is this what they call 'bringing Christ back to Christmas'?”
“Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security posted a deranged video showing Santa as an ICE agent. Making people suffer is just a game for the Trump administration,” one person wrote.
