Samsung is considering using AI “Vibe Coding” This will allow Galaxy phone users to customize their app and software experience without any programming knowledge. The company acknowledged that “We’re looking into it.” How this feature is introduced into future devices could change the way people personalize their smartphones.

Wonjoon Choi, head of Samsung’s mobile experience business, told TechRadar that the company is investigating. “The potential to customize your smartphone experience in new ways, including not only apps but also UX.” He envisions Galaxy users tweaking their favorite apps through AI assistance and creating tools customized to their needs.

Vibe coding represents a shift towards user-generated smartphone functionality. This concept allows you to modify existing apps and create small personalized features without traditional programming skills.

While users are currently limited to off-the-shelf tools, Samsung’s approach could enable customization beyond current boundaries.

AI-powered app creation already exists in limited form. Nothing Playground launched in September 2025, allowing users to generate widgets and customize the app through text prompts.

Platforms like OpenAI’s Codex and Anthropic’s Claude Agent allow developers and non-programmers to quickly build applications. One journalist reported that Codex built a working Mac app in 2013. 15 minutes.

Samsung hasn’t yet tested vibe coding in the One UI interface, but this exploration encourages more user control. Over the years, the company has improved its Android-based software with useful features while avoiding complexity overload.

Vibe Coding can extend that philosophy by allowing users to personalize applications according to their personal preferences.

This development is consistent with Samsung’s broader hardware strategy. Moon Sung-hoon, vice president of hardware for Samsung’s MX business, recently outlined plans for all Galaxy devices to be equipped with Exynos processors in the long term.

He said developing an application processor is a complex process that requires a “medium-to-long-term strategy” that spans several years.

Samsung’s Exynos 2600, the world’s first chip with 2nm process, has reportedly shipped 39% CPU improvement It has twice the GPU performance compared to its predecessor. The company claimed that power consumption would be significantly improved, benefiting customers.

“Mr. Moon said that this year’s Exynos ‘achieved passing marks in many respects,’ and expressed confidence in expanding its use.”

AI tools are becoming the norm for developers, and Google recommends certain models to assist with Android app development. As these technologies mature, they could enable everyday phone users to create personalized digital experiences that previously required specialized programming skills.
