collaboration Onboard engineers up to 3x faster with Gemini Enterprise
Amsterdam, June 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Google Cloud today announced a partnership with Randstad Digital to bring advanced agent AI solutions to Forze Hydrogen Racing, a world-renowned student motorsports team developing hydrogen-powered race cars. The solution, an AI agent known as Forze Mirate, uses Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise and Gemini models to help solve the critical challenge of ensuring knowledge transfer happens quickly and seamlessly in high-turnover engineering environments.
Each year, the Forze Hydrogen Racing team experiences 100% attrition, hiring 50 to 60 new student engineers, and then having to quickly restart complex engineering projects. After more than 18 years of continuous improvement, the team’s technical DNA, including specifications, CAD drawings, telemetry, and operational guidelines, was siled across thousands of documents on multiple platforms. This fragmented historical data created a steep learning curve for onboarding new members, made members dependent on alumni, and valuable time was wasted answering repetitive and basic questions.
To eliminate this friction, Ranstad Digital, a premier partner for digital and AI talent, created Forze Mirate. This AI agent is built natively on Google Cloud’s secure infrastructure. decentralized Integrate historical data into accessible, conversational solutions that deliver actionable insights in real-time.
“What Forze Hydrogen Racing faces every year is a concentrated version of the challenge many companies face: the loss of critical organizational knowledge due to talent turnover,” said Peter Kouwen, director of Randstad Digital in the Netherlands. “By combining Randstad Digital’s talent expertise with Google Cloud’s generative AI, we can not only solve data problems, but also radically enhance human talent. The true value of AI is when it acts as a digital mentor to augment the workforce, freeing engineers to focus on complex innovations rather than searching through scattered information and history files.”
Powered by Google Cloud’s AI stack, the Forze Mirate solution allows engineers to query 18 years of engineering history in natural language and receive contextualized, role-specific answers and alumni insights with citations to the original documents. The platform also handles visual context, so engineers can, for example, upload a photo of complex wiring and instantly receive relevant technical specifications and safety instructions.
Since implementing this solution, Forze Hydrogen Racing has transformed efficiency.
- Accelerate onboarding: Racing team reduced time to productivity for new engineers by up to 3x.
- Operational autonomy: Forze has reduced unnecessary dependence on graduates and lead engineers by 80%, making it much easier to coordinate with those transitioning into professional careers while minimizing technical disruption.
- Knowledge preservation: The team improved knowledge retention within the organization by 50%, ensuring that engineering breakthroughs were not lost between generations.
“Forze Mirate proves how agent AI can be seamlessly integrated into work flows and drive tangible business outcomes,” said Joost Smit, Head of Google Cloud, Benelux Airlines. “With Gemini Enterprise as our foundation, Randstad Digital has created a highly secure and grounded solution that transforms complex, siled data into actionable intelligence. This is a blueprint for how organizations can future-proof their human capital.”
