Qatar Insurance (QIC); The leading insurance company in Qatar and the MENA region has announced the launch of its first AI summer internship program for university students. This comes as part of the company’s efforts to develop domestic talent and equip the next generation with advanced capabilities in one of the fastest growing and most innovative technology sectors.
After a competitive selection process involving hundreds of applications, students are admitted to the program based on their academic performance, ability to propose internship projects, and performance in interviews with admissions committees. Over the next eight weeks, interns representing the four universities will participate in intensive training sessions on agent AI tools and vibe coding led by expert mentors from each of QIC’s business units. You also have the opportunity to use these AI approaches to transform your ideas into functional solutions.
Once the program is complete, high-potential projects will be evaluated and selected for user testing within QIC’s digital ecosystem. The most impactful solutions may be further developed and integrated into QIC’s platform as live services, supporting the company’s strategy to expand its technology services across regional and regional markets.
