He came under heavy criticism from many quarters after he shared a humiliating video that was accused by several parties of being racist. The video remained online for approximately 12 hours before being removed.

However, President Trump has not apologized for posting the video clip. President Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Saturday, February 7, 2026, that he had only seen the beginning of the video and was unaware of the offensive parts, adding that his staff typically reviews the entire content before posting.

President Trump refused to apologize for his actions despite widespread criticism, saying, “I saw the first part about the allegations of fraud in voting machines. I thought it was checked, and I passed it on.” The US president insisted he had done nothing wrong, claiming he was reviewing large amounts of material every day. “I’m not making mistakes. I mean, I’m looking at thousands of things,” he said.
