Bertangadi police on Thursday stormed the home of Sameer MD, a YouTuber accused of slandering the Dharmastara temple in an AI-generated video about alleged mass burials in Dharmasala.
Former sanitation worker Cninnaiah claimed that multiple murders, rapes and burials have been held in Dalmassara over the past 20 years, and that several bodies were forced to be buried during that period. However, the man has been arrested on charges of perjury and is further questioned.

After two or three days of questioning, the Bertangadi police and the scene of crime officers (SOCOS) carried a warrant and stormed a rental property in Samia near Bannerghatta. Mangalore mirror The report said.
Police are also investigating Samia's computer and mobile phone that they used to create the video generated for the AI in question.
The raid follows previous attempts to arrest the same person he blocked after he successfully obtained bail from Mangaluru Court. In July he was charged with Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 192, 240, and 353(1)(b).
Karnataka opposition staged a “Dharmastara Charo” rally earlier this week, denounced the ruling parliament for allegedly succumbing to those who “conspired” to injure Hindu temples. Calling the Siddaramaiah government “anti-Hindu”, the BJP had envisaged a thorough investigation into alleged conspiracy by the central agency.
However, the Congress has questioned the BJP's motivation behind the rally, and CM Siddharamaiah said it was allegedly slandering Darmassara and the temple there.
“Why didn't they do it first when the sittings formed? After so many days, they started it by knowing that nothing was found. Isn't it hypocrisy?” CM Siddaramaiah added.
