Speaking at election events in Karnataka and Maharashtra on Monday, PM Modi claimed that the spread of these fake videos was due to political opponents. “These people are abusing technology to create fake videos these days. By abusing AI, they're putting so much crap into my voice that it's putting me at great risk. I appeal to my fellow citizens: If you find a fake video, please report it. Legal action will be taken against the police and our party and they will learn a lesson,” he told the rally.
