Ozzy Osbourne takes a selfie with a musician from heaven in Rod Stewart's concert video

AI Video & Visuals

Over the past two weeks, on his final tour, Rod Stewart has dedicated his 1988 hit “Forever Young” to Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away last month in 76. On the night Black Sabbath Frontman passed away, Stewart announced that a photo of Osborne had been temporarily displayed on the screen behind him. But since then, the compliment has come to include some of the boldest AI slops I've seen in recent memory.

During a handful of shows from the past, Stewart has performed “Forever Young” in an AI-generated video of Osborn taking selfies in heaven, including Janis Joplin, Prince, Tina Turner, Bob Marley, 2pac, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, xxxtentacion, hitnecacion, xxtentacion. Selfie sticks certainly don't exist in heaven, but they use selfie sticks too.

The clip first appeared last week on an Instagram account full of similarly-looking Brainrot, and the full video also includes Osbourne Afterlife moments with Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie. “It's very sad, many people have died of drug-related causes,” Stewart said after showing the clip at his PNC Music Pavilion Show in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday. “I'm still here!”

It's pretty disastrous and you can see below from Stewart's show held on Friday in Alpharetta, Georgia.

@iamsloanesteel Last night I went to a Rod Stewart concert and he performed this “homage” to Ozzy. Do selfies stick to heaven? !! xxxtentacion? ! #ozzyosbourne #RodStewart #XXXTENTACION♬Original Sound – Sloan Steel
