Oppo India on Friday announced that it will launch the Reno 15 series lineup in India on January 8th. The series consists of the following models: Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G, Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G, and Oppo Reno 15 5G. The company will introduce a new camera system focused on portrait photography and video capabilities. Oppo also confirmed new camera hardware. However, pricing and availability details will be announced at launch.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G and Reno 15 Pro Mini 5G come with a 200MP main sensor on the back, a 50MP tele camera with 3.5x magnification lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor boasting a 100-degree FOV. Telecamera maintains 3.5x optical zoom. The device will have the ability to optimize group photos, as well as a feature known as tone balancing that will allow you to change the light and colors depending on your surroundings.
The Reno Series 15 series will be equipped with AI Editor 3.0, which is packed with features such as AI Portrait Glow and video editing features. The Oppo Reno series is also expected to feature dual conversion gain video support on the primary sensor.

Both the upcoming Oppo Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini models will support 4K HDR video recording at up to 60 frames per second for the front, main, ultra-wide and telephoto cameras. Video features include electronic image stabilization, optical image stabilization for some cameras, dual-view video recording, and the ability to take photos while recording video.
The standard Oppo Reno 15 5G offers many of these AI camera features at a lower price point, with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle rear camera on the back, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle selfie shooter.
Based on previous leaks, the box price of Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini is expected to be 64,999 ₹ 64,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256 GB storage version, while the retail price considering adjustments and possible bank offers is expected to be around 59,999 ₹ 64,999.
Oppo Reno 15 series will be sold on Flipkart, Amazon, and Oppo India online store. These phones feature an aerospace-grade aluminum frame with HoloFusion technology and are rated at IP66, IP68, and IP69 for dust and water resistance.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini is expected to feature a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.35 percent, while the Reno 15 Pro may feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel and the standard Reno 15 may feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. All models are expected to feature Full HD+ resolution, with the Pro version offering higher peak brightness.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, pack a 6,200mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and weigh around 187g. Color options and dimensions are also expected to vary across the lineup.
