According to the company, Neusoft Smart Go’s next-generation intelligent cockpit system will serve as the core platform for this work.
Tencent Cloud’s on-device large-scale models will be integrated to develop AI-powered cockpits with natural conversations, proactive interactions, and seamless connectivity between mobile phones and in-vehicle systems.
Jian Guodong, Neusoft Senior Vice President and CEO of Neusoft Smart Go, said: “Leveraging Neusoft Smart Go’s technical expertise in all areas of upper body electronics and Tencent’s leading solutions in AI large models and full-chain ecosystems, the two companies will work together to provide global automakers with truly mass-manufacturable and evolvable AI-powered intelligent cockpit solutions.”
In conjunction with the partnership announcement, Neusoft Smart Go said it has undergone a strategic repositioning and now aims to serve as a global provider of full-domain upper body electronics solutions for intelligent vehicles.
The company said its current product portfolio includes central computing platforms, cockpit/driving/parking integration, intelligent cockpits, intelligent communications, intelligent audio systems, and zone control units.
Tencent Cloud offers features such as a large-scale on-device model, cloud services, data compliance guarantees, and an app ecosystem covering social media, music, and maps.
The partnership will also leverage Tencent’s Intelligent Driving Cloud, OTA technical support, and AI platform services to provide integrated hardware and software solutions to global automakers.
The company said the partnership is designed to help automakers overcome challenges such as high in-house R&D costs, difficulties in ecosystem integration, and limited ability to create differentiated user experiences.
The initiative aims to accelerate intelligent AI-driven upgrades across the fleet, it added.
Zhong Xuedan, vice president and head of Tencent Intelligent Mobility, added: “The two companies will further deepen their cooperation in AI-powered intelligent cockpits, and jointly explore proactive interaction and emotional services leveraging large models, turning the cockpit into a smart companion that better understands users.”
