Microsoft prioritizes M365 and Dynamics 365 and AI Business Solutions for Merges and FY26

AI For Business


FY26's Microsoft partner Go-To-Market approach focuses on three broad solution areas: cloud, security and core solutions, such as Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365, with all AI priorities.

Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 are currently categorized under the Unified AI Business Solutions area. The company's other solution areas for 2016 are Cloud & AI Platforms and Security.

According to Microsoft CEO Judson Althoff, two months in the Sabbatical, we spoke during a pre-recorded portion of today's event. He explained that five sales priorities for partner Microsoft for 2026, alongside the solution area, are:

  • Copilot across all devices and roles
  • M365 and D365 core run
  • Frontier AI Solutions
  • Migration and modernization
  • Cyber Foundation Protection

These priorities have largely changed since FY25, Althoff said, but they are organized differently. He added that Microsoft will cover Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 more vigorously under the new approach. He also said Microsoft is still seeing huge amounts of cloud migration opportunities and plans to encourage both partners and his sellers to win those deals.

Althoff also said the Cloud Solution Provider program remains a Microsoft “lead wit” move, focusing on reducing conflicts between this year's EA and CSP offers.

Jonathan Hunt, CVP of AI Business Solutions, told the audience he was impressed by the results of Microsoft's FY25 Q4. He turned his attention to Microsoft's Frontier Firm Concept (as with many other speakers). This characterizes companies that Microsoft considers Embracing agents to be a core component of their IT strategy.

With the AI Business Solutions unit, Microsoft aims to assess customers across the AI spectrum starting with lower values M365 Copilot and Copilot Chat, moving on to deploying custom agents via Copilot Studio, and ultimately deploying running agents along with Dynamics 365 applications.
