In an unexpected turn of events, Meta launched Vibes. It launched a short format of AI video feeds available on Meta AI App and Meta.ai. This feature is similar to Instagram, but is fully filled with content generated by AI.
Announcing its release on its blog, Meta said it will see videos that have various AI generated from creators and communities as users view it. The feed becomes more personalized over time, and when something catches the eye of the user, you can create your own video, remix what you're watching, and share it with friends and followers.
In a release video shared on Instagram, Mark Zuckerberg presented examples of cats kneading fabrics, women taking selfies by ancient Egyptian women, dogs running on farms, and more.
“In this early version, we continue to develop our own models behind the scenes, partnering with Midjourney and Black Forest Labs,” Meta Chief Executive AI Officer Alexandr Wang said in the thread.
Launch marks notable moments in AI-generated content spaces. Just a few months ago, Google announced that it would end YouTube monetization of low-quality AI-generated videos from July 15, 2025, as part of an effort to maintain content standards and block the practice of prioritizing volume over originality.
