Meta will soon launch three apps and subscriptions for creators, enterprises, and power users of artificial intelligence (AI) products.

The subscription plans, called Instagram Plus, WhatsApp Plus, and Facebook Plus, are being rolled out around the world, Meta product director Naomi Gleit said in an Instagram post on Wednesday (May 27).

“These subscription plans offer richer ways to express and connect across our apps, with even more fun features on the way,” Gleit said.

TechCrunch reported Wednesday that these plans will cost $3.99 per month for Instagram Plus, $3.99 for Facebook Plus, and $2.99 ​​for WhatsApp Plus. The report adds that Meta will continue to offer Meta Verified, which focuses on verification, anti-spoofing, and additional support.

In an Instagram post, Gleit said that in addition to subscription plans for the three apps, Meta will later begin offering plans for creators, businesses, and Meta AI power users.

“We’re also testing new subscription plans that offer premium features for those who want to get even more out of our apps and AI glasses,” Gleit said. “We’re starting with a plan to give people who use Meta AI more work: more capacity, larger and more complex requests, and more room to create.”

“For businesses and creators, we provide premium tools to strengthen your presence, enhance your content, automate tasks and protect your brand,” Greit said.

Bloomberg reported Thursday that Meta AI’s consumer subscriptions include Meta One Plus, which costs $7.99 per month, and Meta One Premium, which costs $19.99 per month. Subscription plans for businesses and creators include Meta One Essential for $14.99 per month and Meta One Advanced for $49.99 per month, according to the report.

Greit also said in the post that Meta may also integrate subscription plans under the name Meta One.

“We’re still testing and learning, but ultimately we think Meta One will be the one place where you can bring your subscriptions across all your apps together,” Gleit said. “This is just the beginning, and there is much more value to come.”
