Lady Gaga released her Dead Dance music video on September 3, 2025. The music video produced by Tim Burton was different and impressed a large part of Gaga's fanbase.
However, it seems that not everyone felt the same way about the video. Some fans claimed that the video was generated by AI. User @graveyardquy re-shared the X video and wrote, “I didn't think Tim Burton X Lady Gaga Collab was on a timeline where it turns out to be an AI slop, but I'm here.”
Some fans agreed in the comments, but many pointed out that it was not being generated. Rather, it is animated in VFX Studio.
The video is not actually generated by AI. Director Tim Burton's video features the director's iconic style throughout the frame. Additionally, we confirmed that the video was filmed on a Mexican puppet island. So the filming was actually done and there was no major AI involvement in the music video.
Dropped 18 hours ago, the video has already accumulated over 4 million views on YouTube. Speaking at Spotify and Netflix's Wednesday Cemetery Gala in New York City last week, Lady Gaga discussed the song. She said, “I worked on Wednesday season 2 and had a great time on even a small part of the show.” She said, “I loved working with Tim Burton and Jenna. Everyone here, that's so incredible. Thank you. I'm here too to make sure my song, “The Dead Dance” is coming. ”
The song appears to be a huge success, and so does the new season on Wednesday.
