TURAM: Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), the nodal agency for promoting digital initiatives in the general education sector in the state, has once again secured national recognition. KITE’s ‘Samagra Plus’ AI platform was honored at the 6th Governance Now Digital Transformation Summit in New Delhi. The award was presented in the category of “Excellence in E-Learning, Assessment and Digital Education Platforms” at an awards ceremony held on Friday.
“Samagra Plus is an innovative AI-driven platform designed to personalize learning to each student’s academic standards and pace. To facilitate this, the platform integrates various advanced modules such as AI chatbots, interactive quizzes, English language learning games, voice assistants, specialized assessment tools, etc.,” said an official statement. K. Anvar Sadas, CEO of KITE, said that the Samagra Plus AI platform has been developed strictly within the curriculum framework and the typical concerns regarding algorithmic bias in AI are fully addressed and eliminated. This is the second major national award for the Samagra Plus AI platform in recent months. The platform also won the ‘Education Technology Transformation Award’ at the 19th Digital Transformation Conference held in Bhubaneswar in December last year.
