Intergrow Brands, the developer of Kerala's famous spice brand Kitchen Treasures, is revolutionising its sales strategy with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).To better reach out to customers, Intergrow has partnered with AI consultancy Datadibber.
Intergrow says India's food industry is booming and projected to reach $220 billion by 2025, but finding time to fit it into busy schedules to identify the best stores to visit and drive awareness of its vast product portfolio is a big challenge. That's where data diversion came in: the AI consultancy built and trained a machine learning model combined with Intergrow's expertise to optimize sales routes and recommend lesser-known products to salespeople in Kerala. Intergrow says this has significantly improved efficiency and productivity.
The company added that the AI solution not only increased sales but also simplified the work of its sales teams: by intelligently classifying stores, the system maintained optimal results while reducing unnecessary visits, leading to more manageable routes and increased sales representative satisfaction.
“We went from inefficiently covering 50+ stores to effectively covering all stores in a matter of days,” said Ashok Mani, CEO of Intergrow Brands. “This has increased sales without impacting service levels. This would have been impossible to do manually, but Datadivr's AI tools made it possible in a matter of months.” The brand announced it has partnered with Datadivr, which is focused on data-driven ROI, to leverage AI to drive further growth.
Intergrow Brands is a subsidiary of Synthite, the world's largest value-added spices manufacturer. With its Kitchen Treasures brand, the company is currently the second largest player in the packaged spices market in Kerala. Datadivr provides end-to-end services to food and life sciences companies to design, deploy, and support machine learning and data analytics.
