New York: WhatsApp Business has introduced several new features based on artificial intelligence (AI).
Instant messaging application WhatsApp Business is rolling out AI features in countries including Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Cambodia, according to a statement from Meta. These features will be rolled out gradually in all countries.
The new AI tools will allow businesses using WhatsApp Business to create ads with just one click and also give them access to an online assistant that can answer customer questions.
This feature will enable large businesses to use AI tools to arrange direct calls, for example, if a customer wants to open a bank account or needs information about their credit or debit card, they can get a direct call through the AI tool.
Businesses can also use the AI tool to provide information about the importance and features of various products. WhatsApp Business account owners just need to give instructions with a single click and the AI tool will take care of the rest.
These AI tools will be gradually made available to users in all countries, but some countries may not have these features available until a few months later.
Additionally, WhatsApp Business has started offering blue checkmark verification for a monthly fee.
