July 22, 2026 – Jorjin Technologies, a Taiwan-based provider of augmented reality (AR) smart glasses and wearable platform solutions, and MultiSet AI, an enterprise visual positioning and spatial mapping company, recently announced a strategic partnership to develop wide-area spatial computing applications for ultra-light AR glasses.

The companies say the partnership aims to combine Jorjin’s AR glasses and wearable system integration capabilities with MultiSet’s visual positioning system (VPS) and spatial mapping platform to enable more practical hands-free guidance, indoor positioning, and future physical AI workflows in real-world enterprise environments.

Initial work will focus on large indoor spaces where GPS is not available, such as manufacturing sites, logistics facilities, hospitals, museums, and smart restaurants. This collaboration explores hands-free indoor navigation, asset-level work guidance, and location-aware service workflows with Jorjin ultralight AR glasses. We also explore how facility scanning, digital twin data, 360-degree capture, and 3D Gaussian splatting assets can support reusable VPS maps for enterprise sites, along with privacy, network, edge, and on-premises deployment options.

How does spatial positioning work in Jorjin’s J9 glasses?

By integrating a spatial positioning layer, the companies say the glasses can understand where the wearer is, what assets or zones they are facing, and when to provide location-specific guidance through visual, audio, or gaze-based interactions.

MultiSet AI provides an enterprise VPS and spatial mapping platform for building and operating spatial applications across devices. The company says recent releases have expanded support for wearable VPS, along with MapSet management, map versioning, Android on-device VPS, VPS Gen2, and a pipeline to connect 360-degree capture or 3D Gaussian splatting data to VPS maps.
