He wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “There is a fake video circulating showing a fake computer-generated photo of me with the theme that I have finally turned back to God on its head. It's bullshit. I'm seriously considering reporting this to the cyber police and ultimately dragging the person responsible for this fake news and the few people who forwarded this fake news to court for damaging my reputation and credibility (sic).”
Javed's post quickly garnered a lot of support, with many saying that such manipulated content poses a serious threat to people. One user wrote, “Deepfakes like this are pure poison. Thank you for speaking out and fighting back. The real evil here is misinformation. Take legal action.
