From senior actor Sunny Deol to young man Janvi Kapoor, Bollywood celebrities have received profiles of several people and expressed concern about crashing the Boeing 787 Dreamliner plane carrying 242 passengers. Air India Flight AI171 flying from Ahmedabad to London crashed near Meganinagar area shortly after takeoff, due to the lack of cover of Air India's flight AI171. Carrying 242 passengers, the plane lost radar contact at an altitude of 625 feet before rapidly descending and colliding near Sardarvarabye Patel International Airport.

The Gadar 2 actor tweeted about the incident, writing that it was “destroyed by news of a crash on a plane in Ahmedabad.” I pray with all my heart for the survivors – find them and receive the care they need. In a brief statement posted online, an Air India spokesperson said: “Flight AI171, Ahmedabad – The management of London Gatwick was involved in today's incident. For now, we will be looking at details and sharing early updates on Airindia.com and X-handle@Airindia.”
