fact check
To verify the viral claim, we first performed a relevant keyword search to see if there were any reports of Owaisi performing an 'aarti'.. Nothing found.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed several elements in the video that suggested it was AI-generated.
First, you'll see the Google Gemini logo in the bottom right corner (circled below).

A billboard then appears in the first few frames of the video, where the Hindi spelling of “Hanuman Mandir” is distorted. Garbled text like this is a typical feature of AI-generated images and videos.

Third, the orientation of the shot inexplicably changes as the camera angle increases.

Fourth, the people standing around Owaisi do not move or even change their facial expressions.
We also ran the video through HIVE's AI detection tool. According to this, 99% of the time, viral videos contain AI-generated material.

In conclusion, the video of AIMIM Chairman Asaduddin Owaisi performing aarti that is being circulated on social media is generated by AI.
