Artificial intelligence is changing the way we live, and the pace of AI usage is accelerating with all technological advances. AI also affects the way readers experience print, online, social media, video and audio information.
When we explore how AI plays a role in our newsroom, we want to make sure we do so in a way that earns and maintains your trust. We promise to use AI ethically and transparently to explore how AI supports journalism.
This survey is being conducted by Durango Herald and other newsrooms in collaboration with the local Media Association/Local Media Foundation AI Community Journalism Lab and Trust News.
We are also asking about its use, benefits and future. That's why we're looking for feedback on the use of AI in our newsrooms.
We recommend taking part in a short survey titled “How should the newsroom use AI?” It was thoughtfully developed in collaboration with two major and respected national media organizations. Local Media Association/Local Media Foundation and Trust News provided expertise in coordinating the survey.
