Hisar: As artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the workplace, Hisar Police has embraced the technology by introducing specialized training on AI tools like ChatGPT, in addition to English grammar, typing and other computer-related skills.Superintendent of Police (SP) Shashank Kumar Sawant said 18 training courses have been developed at the District Police Training Center and 2,922 personnel have completed various courses so far. Some personnel were trained in multiple courses.The SP said the aim of the training center is to ensure that all police personnel, regardless of their academic background, can easily understand the training and apply it in their daily police work. Therefore, the course materials are written in plain language and include step-by-step modules designed to increase your professional competency and confidence.In addition to AI and language training, the officials are trained in preparing FIR applications, arrest and seizure memos, witness lists, challans, and notices under Section 35 and 35(3) of the Bharatiya Janata Party Act. Training is also provided on handling electronic evidence, managing case logs, creating Lucca and MLC, and using various police applications.Courses on SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and Rules, Juvenile Justice Act and JJ Model Rules, POCSO Act, NDPS Act, fingerprinting, vehicle maintenance and other technical skills are also conducted.For emergency response, ERV staff are trained in first aid, procedures for safely transporting accident victims to hospital, use of cameras, and area patrols.
