A new study by Fujitsu Consulting Uvance Wayfinders reveals the so-called sovereign leader We consistently outperform our peers in collaboration, innovation, trust and growth.

Key findings show that organizations that treat data and AI sovereignty as a strategic capability are:

  • 10% more likely to report success in how they collaborate effectively with partners
  • 19% more likely to do well in developing new AI-enabled products and services
  • 16% more likely to agree that they are successful in maintaining customer trust
  • They are 11% more likely to report meeting their financial goals (57% compared to just 46% of companies that lag in sovereignty and data maturity).

These organizations believe that sovereignty and privacy are designed to drive business success. That way, Jagebro argues, it will be easiest to follow a compliant path. “It’s easier that way,” he added. “You have guardrails, you know to abide by, you know you can do.”
