AI-driven formats tailor content based on visitor preferences. This allows users to access information more efficiently and engage with technology at their own pace.

“2026 is going to be an exciting year,” said Jon Rietveld, CEO of i4F. “We are putting strategy into action by accelerating the industry's transition to digital platforms and applying AI to help licensees bring solutions to market faster. We are also leading the transition to seamless design by connecting floors, walls, and stairs into one unified visual experience.”

New stair tread technology

i4F officially introduces two new stair tread technologies designed to address the long-standing industry challenge of seamlessly matching stairs and floors. This solution uses the same materials, decoration, texture and height as the floor. This ensures a consistent design throughout the staircase, landing and top step.

This technology supports SPC, LVT, WPC, laminate and wood applications. L-shaped and U-shaped constructions are available to accommodate different types of stairs. Water-resistant by design, this system prioritizes safety, performance, and quick installation for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Installers can complete the installation without trimming, aluminum profiles, or structural stair changes. The result is a continuous visual flow from the floor to the stairs.

Thera grout extends to the wall

i4F is also extending CeraGrout technology from floor to wall with the introduction of CeraGrout Wall. This solution recreates the look of modern rectified ceramic while incorporating an easy-to-install locking system suitable for bonded wall applications.

Fully waterproof, SPC panels come pre-grouted, making the surface easy to clean, hygienic and stain-resistant. This technology is suitable for bathroom and kitchen environments.
