Google will now let everyone use the AI-powered video editor VIDS

Applications of AI

Google has a basic version of Vids for everyone. Previously, AI-powered video editors were only available on Google Workspace or AI Plan Subscrivers, but users can access the app widely through templates, stock media, and “subsets of AI features.” Barge.

Released last year, Vids is the latest addition to Google's Workspace Tool Suite. This helps you quickly put together your video presentations using many AI video editing and creation tools, including features that help you create storyboards with proposed scenes, stock images, and background music.

Sivaji points out that the stored version of Vids comes with “almost all the amazing features” within the app, but the free version doesn't have any of the new AI-powered features that are being deployed today, such as the ability to have an AI Generated Avatar to deliver messages on your behalf.

With this update you can choose from one of 12 ready-made avatars. Each avatar has a different appearance and sound, allowing you to add scripts. For now, I cannot use VIDS to create avatars generated in my AI. This is the feature zoom currently on offer (and clearly something that technology CEOs are very interested in). When asked about this possibility, Sivaji stated that Google “no more updates” right now.

Additionally, Google is based on VIDS's existing video generation capabilities by allowing it to create 8-second videos that incorporate specific images, such as new products. You can also use an AI-powered tool that automatically removes filler words and pauses them from recording if you choose to include your own video in your presentation.

Google bets that these features will help businesses save time and money when it comes to supporting product demos, training videos or content. “A 10-minute clip with a real actor can take up to six months, and can cost tens of thousands of dollars due to the time it takes to create a script. “What we're hearing from our customers is that we can dramatically expand the number of people who can make these types of videos and how often they can make them.”
