Google has officially expanded access to the latest AI-powered video generation model, VEO 3, for all Gemini App Pro subscribers, including India. This update was confirmed via X's post by Josh Woodward, Vice Presidents of Google Labs and Gemini App.
Previously, VEO 3 was restricted to Ultra Plan subscribers and later deployed to Protia users in certain countries. Despite their initial absence from the list, Indian users were beginning to find the VEO 3 option in the app. Google is now officially confirming availability in the Indian market.
VEO 3 is bundled with a Google AI Pro plan that costs Rs 1,950 per month. This includes a lighter version titled “Veo 3 Fast” and generates 720p video for up to 8 seconds. According to Google, the variant delivers results twice as fast, with users defaulting to previous VEO 2 models before allowing three videos per day.
Meanwhile, the fully-featured AI Ultra plan, which has not flourished in India, is now accessible for Rs 24,500 per month and offers extensions.
To generate a video:
1. Launch the Gemini mobile app.
2. Check for your active AI Pro or Ultra subscription.
3. Enter the prompt in the text box.

Each video generated contains audio and can be downloaded directly from the app.
First introduced in Google I/O 2025, VEO 3 is designed to interpret complex prompts and generate video with realistic visuals and synchronized sounds. Supports narrative instructions, simulates physics and achieves accurate lip sync.
This model also powers Flow, Google's AI filmmaking tool. This allows Ultra users to create 1080p videos, access advanced camera tools, and expand existing clips.
