Google Bard AI Chatbot Now Available for Workspace Accounts

Applications of AI

Google has opened its chatbot Bard AI to anyone with a Workspace account. The AI chatbot was first made available for her personal Google account at launch.

The company recently announced an upgrade to its generative AI chatbot, Bard AI, to allow individuals to write code and develop software.

This comes after Google announced the rollout of passkeys to Google Account users worldwide.

In a blog post, the tech giant said Workspace admins should enable Bard AI for their domains. Once enabled, Workspace accounts will have the same level of access as consumer accounts.

Workspace admins now have the option to allow end-users access to Bard through the newly introduced Early Access Apps control,” Google wrote in a blog post.

However, Workspace users must be on the waiting list to access Google Bard.

The tech giant added that Bard AI settings for managed accounts will be available soon in an “early access app” and will roll out in the coming days.

Additionally, the tech giant is working to improve the accessibility of chatbots on Pixel phones and tablets with features like dedicated home screen widgets. 9to5Google reports that Bard AI will soon be released on Android.

Some Google employees who have previously tested the chatbot called the system a “pathological liar” and begged the company not to launch it.
