Free ‘must-have’ AI skills classes for businesses in Surrey

A free one-day class titled “Essential AI Skills for Business” will be offered by the DIVERSEcity Skills Training Center through the Downtown Surrey Library on Monday, March 16th.
Participants must be a registered business in Surrey or have a business license in Surrey.
“This one-day practical course will help business owners use AI tools to manage their businesses and use them with confidence,” the bulletin reads.
The city center library is located at 10350 University Drive. The course starts from 9:30am and lasts 6 hours and 30 minutes. Reservations can be made by March 13 on the City of Surrey website.
According to event materials, attendees will learn how to use artificial intelligence to “protect customer data, maintain compliance, and build trust in your brand,” how to turn data into “insights with AI tools that help you make faster and smarter business decisions,” how to enhance your marketing and communications by “using AI to create effective emails, reports, and social media content,” and “Create professional presentations and marketing materials in minutes – Design It states that you can expect to learn how to do this without any skills required.
Participants will also learn how to “save time and stay organized by using AI to manage projects, schedules, and teams.”
