Vishvas News investigated the video and found that the claim is false. Justin Bieber performed at Anant Radhika's sangeet ceremony, but the video of Bieber playing the harmonium is not real but an AI-generated image.

Social media user 'Alok Mishra' shared the viral post (archive link) and wrote, “Indians know how to make people dance. This too is recorded in history. Hurrah.”

First, we searched for Justin Bieber's performance at Anant Radhika's sangeet ceremony. A video of Justin Bieber's performance was found on Viral Bhayani's Instagram account. In the video shared on July 6, 2024, Justin is seen singing while wearing a western outfit. A video of Justin Bieber's performance was also found on the verified Instagram handle of HTCity.
The photo in question looks unnatural, suggesting it was created using AI: Using the AI tool Hive Moderation, we found that there is a 94.4 percent likelihood that the photo was generated by AI.
Using yet another tool, Ease It AI, to investigate the photo, they found that there was an 83.41 percent likelihood that it was created by AI. Furthermore, using the contentatscale.ai tool, they found that there was a 98 percent likelihood that the image was created by AI.
We found a report about this viral photo on Boldsky's verified Facebook page. A video shared on July 5, 2024, confirmed that the photo trending on social media was generated by AI and people are mistaking it for the real thing.
We shared the image with Gayatri Agarwal, AI expert and founder of ALTRD, and she confirmed that the image was created using AI.
Further, we also checked the profile of the user who shared the post and found that the user has over 3,000 followers and resides in Lucknow.
