Santa Clara, California, April 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — d-Matrix, a pioneer in low-latency AI inference computing for the data center, today announced the acquisition of the data center business of GigaIO, a systems engineering organization with deep expertise in rack-scale infrastructure and high-performance interconnects.
This agreement deepens a proven partnership, building on a collaboration that began in 2025. With this move, d-Matrix expands its capabilities to support system-level deployments and strengthens the value of its end-to-end AI inference platform spanning Corsair™ inference accelerators, JetStream™ networking, and Aviator™ software, in addition to the d-Matrix SquadRack™ rack-scale reference architecture developed in collaboration with Broadcom and Arista.
While GigaIO, Inc. will continue as an independent entity focused on edge computing, d-Matrix has acquired the company’s core data center technologies, including SuperNODE and FabreX™ PCIe-based memory fabrics, to support its system-level infrastructure roadmap.
