Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], June 6: The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at IIIT Hyderabad announced the onboarding of four startups to the Avishkar Accelerator Summer 2023 cohort in the Deep Tech, Mobility, Healthcare and Media Tech sectors. Since the launch of his Avishkar accelerator in 2016, it has spawned over 26 cohorts and 48 startups in AI, ML, IoT and digital health, of which about 53% have raised subsequent funding. .
The Accelerator Kickoff was held May 29-June 2, 2023 with CIE panel mentors and industry experts. From an overwhelming number of applications from over 120 startups, the selection committee listed six of his startups as finalists for the program. The shortlisted startups were from the fields of real-time patient movement data collection, brain health management, lithium-ion battery manufacturing, C-V2X, AI and digital twins, and mobile web tools.
As part of the Avishkar Accelerator, selected startups will receive 40L of seed funding along with a detailed 6-month plan offering four streams of mentorship: Business Strategy, GoToMarket Plan, Technical Review and Domain-Specific Mentorship. receive. The program is jointly promoted by industry leaders such as CIE, IIIT Hyderabad, Co-creation Consulting and SucSeed Indovation Foundation. The startups shortlisted for this cohort are:
– NxtQ aims to provide accurate, real-time data on patient movement and enable prosthetists and orthotics to create customized devices to meet their needs.
– Nirvesh Enterprises aims to provide post-operative brain health care. It plans to provide it through neurocare-related products.
– Petrol Social aims to bring all the tools you have on PC and web to mobile. Tools like content creation platforms and smart Lego on mobile.
– Eranext Auto allows vehicles to communicate with each other and the surrounding infrastructure, including pedestrians and other road users.
