Dr. Omolaraeni Olaosebikan, Group Chief Executive Officer, McEnies Global Communications, a renowned marketing communications and event planning practitioner, has identified Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a transformative technology that has the potential to revolutionise industries and drive economic growth not only in Nigeria but across the world.
She made this assertion on Thursday during a virtual meeting with reporters on May 30, 2024, where she used the opportunity to speak about her latest skills and knowledge acquisition achievements at the Said Business School, University of Oxford and the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC).
Dr. Omolarayeni achieved certification in the Artificial Intelligence program at the Said Business School, University of Oxford on May 28, 2024, and also became a Certified Management Consultant (CMC®) with the Institute of Management Consultants on May 27, 2024. CEO McEneas also achieved IMC Fellow membership.

While answering questions from reporters, she said: “We recently achieved accreditation for our Artificial Intelligence program from Oxford University's Said Business School after a rigorous two-month learning experience.
This experience was very interesting as it allowed me to improve my skills in integrating AI into business processes while at the same time gaining insight into the ethical implications and business impacts.
It was enlightening to understand the expectations as the world moves towards AI in modern business practices. This certification has been of great significance for my career development and has broadened my perspective on the future of AI in business.”
“My academic experiences have equipped me with valuable technical awareness and leadership skills essential to leading and scaling organizations in the age of artificial intelligence.
This fulfilling journey has not only equipped me with the ability to effectively lead in the rapidly evolving world of technology but also empowered me to balance and excel in my current job responsibilities.
This blend of academic knowledge and practical application has honed my ability to drive innovation and success while managing my existing responsibilities with dedication and proficiency.”
“I also qualified with the College of Management Consultants of Nigeria (CMC), which is a founding member of the international federation, the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI-Global) and interestingly, I am currently a Fellow.
For me, this is a big win and career boost. This certification has established me as a consultant who can manage consulting transactions within prestigious companies while respecting ethical standards.
This certification, coupled with my attention to detail, clarity and strategic thinking, makes me well-equipped to work with multinational companies, providing expert consultancy across a range of sectors and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services as agreed.”

“By fostering partnerships between government, businesses, researchers and international allies, Nigeria can harness the transformative potential of AI to drive economic growth, spur innovation and address societal challenges.”
Each stakeholder has a critical role to play in contributing to Nigeria's AI journey through policy advocacy, technology adoption, research collaborations, global partnerships and more. By working together towards a common vision, Nigeria can position itself as a pioneer in AI innovation, unlock new opportunities and build a prosperous future for its people in the age of artificial intelligence.” She said:
Dr. Olaosebikan also used the occasion to appeal to business owners and leaders across industries to embrace AI digital transformation of Nigeria’s business ecosystem through the adoption of technology.
