Call for Applications for MSc in GU, AI and Data Science Programs

Panjim: Given the growing demand for a skilled workforce in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), the University of Goa is offering a two-year Master of Science (Master’s) in AI course starting this year. Starting this semester, the university is also inviting applications for the Masters in Data Science program.
Two master’s degree programs are offered at Gore Business School. Each course has 20 seats. The last date to submit the application is June 23rd.
According to a statement released, the university said the entrance exam for admission to the program will take place on July 3. Membership fees of approximately 20,000 rupees per year will be collected.
Students with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering in Computer Science or IT, or a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, and Electronics are eligible for the Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Master’s degree in Data Science programs.
“After scrutinizing the applications received, a list of candidates who are required to participate in the entrance exam will be published on the university website. After that, the list of candidates selected for admission will be displayed on the Goa University website,” said GU.
The list will appear on July 7th.
“Such candidates will be placed in provisional positions until successfully completed a bridge course recommended to the student on a case-by-case basis by their respective mentor assigned upon admission to the program and approved by the Computer Science and Technology Disciplinary Council. You can get admission at any time,” the university said.
