BW Canverting has announced that the digital innovation initiative, centered on fault anomalies, has been selected as one of the first projects of the new Microsoft AI Co-Invation Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. Submissions for this project were generated by the Accelerate Digital Services team in conjunction with the Barry-Wehmiller Digital Innovation team. This milestone strengthens the role of BW transformation within the Wisconsin technology ecosystem and marks a new chapter in its journey of digital transformation alongside Titletowntech, a Green Bay Packers and Microsoft-backed innovation hub.
Accelerate is a BW conversion digital conversion platform designed to prevent customers from just viewing machine data. Dashboards are powerful tools, but they are just the beginning. Accelerate real-time dashboards with insight from expert technicians, enabling users to understand data, reduce downtime, increase efficiency and take actions to improve long-term performance.
“In converting BW, you don't just look at numbers, it's about understanding them,” says Amber Stollfus, director of digital services and solutions at BW Converting. “That's the force of acceleration.”
Originally launched in 2020, Accelerate continues to evolve as a dynamic, customer-centric solution. The development philosophy behind it is simple. Development should never be stopped.
TitletownTech is an operating partner for Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Lab in Milwaukee, helping potential participants define, refine and quantify the value of the most promising AI-driven solutions. TitletownTech provided BW conversion of the support, infrastructure, and connections needed to submit projects to Microsoft for evaluation.
“TitletownTech helped us manage our communications with Microsoft and helped us guide us through critical processes. They acted as a bridge between our team and the broader technology ecosystem,” adds Stollfus.
The Joint INVATION Lab allows participants to work with Microsoft engineers in rapid prototyping sessions and learn about the latest technologies available to the market.
“We believe our passion and strong vision for being able to accelerate have played a major role in this engagement choice,” Stollfus said.
Accelerate not only leverages real-time machine data, but also helps customers by enhancing it with expert analytics. It's not just a dashboard, it's a service that allows users to act based on insights. The pairing of technology and human expertise makes it stand out in a competitive field, the company says.
The partnership includes upcoming strategic meetings between the BW Transform Leadership and the managing partners of Titletowntech. Goal: Raise awareness, promote innovation and expand AI-driven development across Wisconsin. Ultimately, BW conversion customers will enjoy the resulting benefits.
