After two and a half years of waiting, K-Pop Girl Group BlackPink is finally back. The group reunited to join a world tour entitled “Deadline” and also released a new single called “Jump.” BlackPink was playing this new track at its first deadline show at Goyang Stadium in Seoul. The group has now dropped the official teaser for the music video, but instead of being excited, fans have found what has disappointed them.
Fans were initially excited about the Jump Teaser, but were excited to see the powerful concept come to life in the music video. However, the teaser clip quickly fired after some people claimed that many scenes in the MV could have been created using generated AI. Posts currently viral on social media point to certain frames of music videos that look overly edited or unnatural.

Users noted that the billboard featured in the teaser shows that all four members standing in front of it are highly unrecognizable and have undergone significant changes. There is no official confirmation that the AI was used to film the music video, but the possibility that it could have been annoyed fans.

AI is a controversial topic in the K-Pop industry. Many feel that it neglects the real artists who work hard to make their own art. People feel that using AI is unethical and lazy. Blackpink fans hope that these allegations are not true and that they will be disproved when the entire Jump music video is released.
