We've seen photos emerging on social media that appear to show Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo, who married his longtime partner Georgina Rodriquez.
This is one of many photos and videos that have the couple come in viral, appearing to tie the knot.
This black and white shot has attracted over 5 million views for one X post at the time of writing this.
If you scroll past this photo in your feed, you probably won't look it again.
People who follow Ms. Rodriquez on Instagram, External It seems unlikely that this will soon be a wedding, as we know they were only engaged last week.
So, what's going on here? Now let's take a closer look at the pictures, especially their hands.
As you can see, the fingers appear to be deformed.
The strange-looking hands are a common sign of A-Generation.
Experts say this is because AI image generators available today have a hard time understanding the three-dimensional geometry of the hand.
This is not a problem if you want a general image of your hand, but as soon as you encourage the image generator to show you that you're doing something more geometrically complicated – like entangled fingers, you'll have a hard time reproducing it accurately.
This technology is evolving rapidly, but for now, if you think your image is a fake AI, then the best place to check first is the hand.
