The BBC has released four short video series designed to showcase audiences to AI and its everyday applications. The content is intended for viewers with little or no prior experience with AI tools.
BBC Ideas, which generates short forms of factual content for digital platforms, has developed a project with STEM faculty at Open University. OOF Animation Ltd provided animation, and BBC's Generation AI team supported the production. The video is narrated by BBC technology editor Zoe Kleinman.
Four videos will help you get started with AI chatbots, AI can improve your home and work life, identify AI-driven scams, and identify AI's role in student homework. Each is designed to highlight both opportunities and risks of AI adoption.

Jinkinson added: “The series, narrated by BBC's high-tech editor Zoe Kleinman, was created in collaboration with Open University (especially STEM faculty and broadcast PM Matthew Ray), animated by Brilliant Oof Animation Ltd and supported by Emma Purchon and Rachel Jupp from BBC's Generic Project.
