The company's new offering, announced at Imagine 2024, incorporates the second generation of GenAI process models to speed up the discovery, development, and deployment of AI process automation. The company also released new AI agents that manage complex cognitive tasks and deliver more automation than ever before across all systems in the enterprise. A groundbreaking new feature is the ability to build custom AI agents with the new AI Agent Studio. AI agents take automation to the next level with the ability to learn from enterprise data, make informed decisions, and act responsibly across any enterprise system, making processes up to 90% faster. AI Agent Studio features low-code tools so developers of all skill levels can quickly and easily create specialized AI agents to help with specific use cases, without the need for a data scientist. These AI agents combine AI and actions to tackle more complex cognitive tasks, such as identifying and automatically replacing products when they are out of stock. They are adaptable, able to learn from complex enterprise data and take rapid action for faster resolution and higher ROI.

Now generally available, the new AI Agent Studio provides developers of all levels with low-code tools to easily build, manage, and govern custom AI agents. Developers can start with a choice of base models, including models from AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, and more.
Developers can also extend their AI agents with enterprise knowledge through the native Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) service and, coming in October, Amazon Bedrock. Finally, developers can take advantage of built-in prompt testing to ensure output is relevant for any use case before putting their AI agents to work.
Enhanced security and governance equips AI agents with built-in controls to protect and monitor how AI and corporate data is used to ensure security and compliance. New capabilities include monitoring and auditing of agent and model performance, guardrails for consistent usage, and human validation and rapid testing to limit artifacts and maximize output quality. Future Data Masking automatically redacts sensitive data from all inputs processed by the model.
