Aston Business School Capgemini and Capgemini have signed a partnership agreement to support the launch of Aston University’s AI Masters for Business Transformation, a new one-year full-time graduate program focused on enterprise AI, business transformation and responsibility. AI governance.
The course will be offered at Aston University in Birmingham from September 2026 and is aimed at preparing students for roles in AI-powered business transformation, digital strategy, project management, change management and data-driven innovation.
Capgemini will contribute to the program through guest lectures, industry-led research projects, internship opportunities, and input into the design and delivery of one course module. The partnership works with the Aston-Capgemini Center of Excellence for Enterprise AI, which works on enterprise AI adoption, governance and skills.
Capgemini works with organizations on technology-driven business transformations including AI, data, cloud, software, engineering and business operations. It has 420,000 team members in more than 50 countries and reported global revenues of €22.5 billion in 2025.
Capgemini supports education and industrial projects
Aston Business School said on LinkedIn that the partnership will combine academic education with industry experience.
“This collaboration brings together academic expertise and industry insights to provide students with the knowledge and practical experience they need to lead AI-powered business transformation.”
It added that Capgemini will “contribute to education, conduct guest lectures, support industry-led research projects and offer internship opportunities”, giving students exposure to business challenges at the technology and transformation consultancy.
The MSc will cover modules such as Artificial Intelligence for Business, Digital and Business Transformation, Predictive Analytics, Responsible AI and Emerging Technology Governance, Project Management, and AI Value Creation and Business Impact.
Students will also study Aston Global Advantage, Aston Business School’s professional development modules, and applied research methods and skills.
Courses focused on responsible AI implementation

This course is designed around business transformation rather than standalone technical AI training. According to Aston University, students will consider how AI can support business and digital transformation initiatives, apply people, process and technology management frameworks, and assess the responsible and ethical use of AI and emerging technologies.
Students will have the opportunity to earn the ISACA Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals Certificate, which Aston University describes as demonstrating foundational expertise in AI.
